This letter is considered to be an application letter for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk in the office of the State’s Director General of Police.First of all I would like to thank the recruitment officer for notifying the details about the recruitment by spreading it all over the familiarly available media. Another special thanks for the recruitment officer for allowing the undergraduate candidates who were belonging to other states to apply for the specified post. Being a candidate from the neighbour state, I belong to the General Category with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and have secured a First Class with Distinction in the same. Also I have passed the Stenography Examination and English Typewriting with distinction.  Being a fresher, I would like to work in a government office and that too specifically in a Director of a Department’s office rather than any other corporate. Awaiting for a positive response from your good office.
